Well the whole Hudson Valley starts in Yonkers/ Rockland county and runs all the way up to Albany/ Troy, but I’m going to focus on only the Mid-Hudson region which consists of counties south of Albany and north of NYC: Dutchess, Ulster, Sullivan (although not officially on the New York State map of the Hudson Valley, it is widely considered a part of the region), Orange, Putnam, and Westchester counties. Where is it, and what characteristics do people enjoy most about the Hudson Valley?
